Full-time College Instructor (BS Nursing) - AMACC Baguio

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Instructor for the BSN Program to join our academic team in Baguio City, Benguet. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of information technology professionals by delivering high-quality education, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving technology sector.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical demonstrations and laboratory sessions for BSIT program courses in accordance with the approved curriculum
2. Create and maintain comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, quizzes and examinations that align with learning objectives
3. Assess student performance through a variety of methods including exams, assignments, projects and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning
4. Mentor and guide students academically, providing support during office hours and helping them understand complex technical concepts
5. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in information technology education to keep curriculum relevant and engaging
6. Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to ensure curriculum coherence and interdisciplinary integration
7. Participate in curriculum review and development initiatives to continuously improve the BSIT program offerings
8. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades and academic progress as required by institutional policies

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (with Master's degree is preferred)
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in clinical, hospital, and school settings
3. Proven teaching or training experience in an educational institution, corporate training environment or equivalent setting
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to diverse student audiences
5. Proficiency in using learning management systems, educational technology tools and digital platforms
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple courses, assessments and student interactions simultaneously
7. Passion for education and commitment to student success, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners
8. Familiarity with Philippine educational standards and K-12 to higher education transition framework is advantageous
