Principal, Financial Planning & Reporting

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Principal, Financial Planning & Reporting to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support PH financial reporting, P&L analysis, budget tracking, variance analysis, and management reporting.

This role will help improve reporting visibility, strengthen financial analysis, and coordinate recurring reporting needs between the PH operation and US Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly PH financial reporting packages
• Support P&L review, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
• Analyze expenses against budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Prepare budget-vs-actual reporting with explanations for material changes
• Maintain reporting schedules for major PH cost categories

Reconciliations & Cost Reporting

• Support cash-to-expense and funding-vs-spend reconciliations
• Assist with FX, intercompany, and funding-related reporting schedules
• Prepare cost-driver reporting, including headcount, seats, payroll-related costs, vendors, and department spend
• Identify unusual movements or reporting inconsistencies for follow-up

US / PH Finance Coordination

• Coordinate with US Finance on monthly reporting, close support, and analysis requests
• Work with PH finance, accounting, payroll, procurement, HR, and operations teams to gather reporting support
• Assist with routine audit or reporting inquiries by organizing support and preparing explanations
• Help translate PH financial activity into reporting formats usable by US Finance

Systems & Process Improvement

• Support better use of Business Central or other ERP/accounting systems for reporting
• Improve recurring Excel schedules, templates, and reconciliations
• Help document recurring reporting procedures and review steps
• Support practical training on reporting schedules, Excel analysis, and documentation standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• CPA, Philippines, strongly preferred
• 7 to 9 years of finance, accounting, audit, reporting, or FP&A experience
• Experience with financial reports, reconciliations, variance analysis, or budget-vs-actual reporting
• Big 4 audit, shared-services, BPO, multinational, or US-facing finance experience is a plus
• Exposure to US GAAP, IFRS, or multinational reporting standards preferred

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations, schedules, and model maintenance
• Ability to prepare P&L schedules, variance analysis, budget reports, and cost-driver reporting
• ERP/accounting system experience preferred, such as Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, or similar
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial data from multiple sources
• Ability to explain financial results clearly in business terms
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused
• Familiarity with Philippine accounting standards, local finance processes, and tax-related reporting concepts
