Housekeeper

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned areas within the hotel/establishment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Guest Rooms:

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.

Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Public Areas:

Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells.

Empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, and vacuum carpets.

Ensure that all areas are well-maintained and presentable.

Other Areas:

May be assigned to clean other areas such as offices, laundry rooms, or employee break rooms.

Assist with laundry duties as needed.

General Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Work effectively as part of a team.

Follow all hotel policies and procedures.

Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not always required.

Skills:

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

May be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
