We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to manage customer transactions. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash and electronic payments, and ensure the accuracy of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments quickly and accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Issue receipts and process returns or exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product inquiries
- Balance cash drawer at the start and end of shifts
- Ensure proper handling of store policies and promotions
- Previous cashier or retail experience (preferred)
- Basic math and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
