What you'll be doing
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement appropriate solutions
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems
What we're looking for
- Preferably with knowledge in Advanced Industrial Motor/Diploma or National Certificate in a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems, and equipment
- Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
