The Store Operations Specialist is responsible for preparing and serving specialty products or beverages in accordance with company standards. This role ensures excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and delivering a positive customer experience. The specialist supports daily store operations, maintains quality standards, and contributes to business growth through efficient service and customer engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Ensure prompt and accurate service to meet customer expectations.
2. Customer Engagement
- Interact with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Educate customers about the variety of products and beverages offered.
- Create a positive and engaging in-store experience.
3. Store Operations
- Prepare and serve beverages and specialty products according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions and process orders accurately.
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
4. Quality and Performance
- Maintain high-quality standards in product preparation and service.
- Pay attention to detail in all tasks.
- Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Help drive store performance and revenue through excellent service.
Job Qualifications
- Must be a college undergraduate or graduate.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and beverage varieties.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Self-motivated and capable of contributing to team performance and business growth.
