Job Summary:

Step into the role of a confident and persistent Appointment Setter helping grow our digital marketing services for local businesses. The focus is cold calling home service businesses, introducing our SEO solution, and booking qualified appointments for our team. We’re hoping to find someone comfortable on the phone who handles objections with ease and is motivated by reaching booking targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cold call home service businesses from a provided lead database

• Book qualified appointments between prospects and the business owner

• Follow the provided call scripts and objection-handling prompts consistently

• Record call notes, outcomes, and callback times accurately in the lead platform

• Get through assigned call lists efficiently while keeping daily call volume up

• Manage high-volume outbound calling with an integrated dialer system

• Pass prospect feedback and common objections back to the team

• Keep accurate records for performance tracking and reporting

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in cold calling and outbound appointment setting

• Excellent spoken English with clear, neutral pronunciation and a strong phone presence

• Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally and persistently

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls each day

• Experience with CRMs or lead management platforms

• Experience using a cloud-based dialer system

• Consistent, detail-minded, and able to work on your own

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow scripts and processes accurately

Preferred Skills:

• Experience calling into the US market, especially West Coast time zones

• Familiarity with CloudTalk or similar VoIP/dialer software

• Background selling or setting appointments for digital marketing, SEO, or local business services

• Experience working with home services businesses (contractors, trades, local service providers)

• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO concepts

• Ability to track your own performance metrics and stay on course toward targets
