Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. This includes cutting, re-arranging, and enhancing footage to tell a compelling story or convey a specific message. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the final product meets quality standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content.
• Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver on creative vision.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality across all video projects.
• Manage and organize video assets and project files.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software.
• Perform color correction and audio mixing to achieve professional results.

Qualifications

• Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), strong understanding of visual storytelling, excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, patient, good communication skills, ability to take constructive criticism, collaborative spirit.
