Job Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Sales Manager to lead strategic sales growth in Surface Technologies and Engineering Materials. This role is responsible for market expansion, key account leadership, and commercial strategy execution, working closely with internal and regional stakeholders to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion for the assigned business portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales and market development strategies to strengthen market presence and capture new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and international principals to support long-term business growth.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal structuring to maximize business performance while managing risk.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to align sales plans with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Client Solutions team to achieve business objectives and build organizational capability.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting to support business planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial governance standards, and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical-commercial roles within the chemical or related industries.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing key customer relationships.
- Strong background in business development, commercial negotiations, pricing, and account management.
- Experience working with international suppliers, principals, or regional stakeholders is preferred.
- Solid understanding of raw materials and applications in coatings, inks, plastics, rubber, or related industries.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence business decisions across multiple stakeholders.
