- An Interior Designer is responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe indoor spaces based on client needs, preferences, and budget.
- They develop design concepts, select materials, and oversee project execution to ensure quality and compliance with design standards.
- Consult with clients to determine their needs, style preferences, and budget.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and sketches.
- Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and material specifications.
- Select furniture, fixtures, lighting, color schemes, and accessories.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
- Relevant work experience in interior design or a related role.
- Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, LEED) is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects.
- With at least 1-3 years experience
