Core Duties and Responsibilities

General Support Tasks

• Prepare and restore jobsites, including marking pipe locations and protecting property.
• Clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain plumbing tools and materials.

Pipe Work and System Assembly

• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
• Fit valves, couplings, and assemblies to systems.
• Assist with layout and installation of piping for water, gas, air, and ammonia systems.

Installation and Repair Assistance

• Help install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals.
• Perform basic repairs (e.g., replacing faucet washers, toilet wax rings, clearing simple blockages).
• Locate leaks and prepare work areas by cutting access holes in walls/floors.

Testing and Inspection

• Support pressure tests and leak checks on new or repaired systems.

Material Handling and Jobsite Logistics

• Requisition tools and equipment; transport materials to job sites.
• Monitor supply levels and maintain inventory.

Customer Interaction (when applicable)
