Job Title: Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer

Work Set-up: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) 

Location: Chino Roces, Makati City

Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile and highly skilled Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of web applications, moving fluidly between building interactive user interfaces and architecting powerful server-side logic.

In this role, you aren't just a generalist; you are a specialist in the integration of technologies. You will take high-level product requirements and determine the most efficient way to build them across the entire stack. You will be expected to make informed decisions on data structures, API contracts, and state management, ensuring that our products are scalable, secure, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Feature Development: Lead the development of new features from initial database design and API construction to final UI implementation and polish.
• Architectural Balance: Make critical decisions on where logic should reside (client-side vs. server-side) to optimize for both performance and security.
• Responsive UI Development: Build sophisticated, component-based front-ends using modern frameworks (React or Vue) that provide a seamless experience across all devices.
• Robust Back-End Logic: Develop and maintain high-performance server-side applications using PHP (Laravel) or Node.js, ensuring clean separation of concerns.
• Database Design & Optimization: Design and implement efficient relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB/Redis) data models.
• API Orchestration: Design and document comprehensive RESTful APIs that are easy for other team members (or external partners) to consume.
• Deployment & CI/CD: Manage the deployment pipeline, utilizing Docker, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to ensure consistent and reliable releases.
• Security First Mindset: Ensure the entire application stack is protected against common threats (OWASP Top 10) through proper authentication and authorization flows.
• Mentorship & Quality: Champion code quality across the team through peer reviews, writing technical documentation, and establishing best practices for both front-end and back-end workflows.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 years+ of professional experience working across the full software development life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience delivering at least 2-3 large-scale web applications from scratch to production.

Technical Skills (Required):

• Front-End: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Back-End: Deep expertise in PHP (Laravel) or Node.js.
• Database: Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with ORMs (Eloquent, TypeORM, or Sequelize).
• Testing: Experience with both front-end (Jest/Cypress) and back-end (PHPUnit/Mocha) testing frameworks.

Essential Soft Skills:

• Systems Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" and understand how all parts of a system interact.
• Adaptability: Comfortable switching contexts between styling a button and optimizing a database query.
• Effective Communication: Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Skills):

• Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure services (Lambda, S3, RDS).
• Mobile Development: Experience with React Native or Flutter is a huge plus.
• Monitoring: Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Sentry, New Relic, or Datadog.
• Legacy Systems: Experience refactoring legacy code into modern, modular architectures.
