JOB PURPOSE:
Receive and Disburse money in establishments other than financial institutions.
1. Disbursement Process
- Receiver of the AP vouchers, checks if AP vouchers are properly authorized.
- Preparer of the check vouchers and checks.
- Maker on the online banking disbursements.
- Records the disbursement transactions in the company's accounting system Log-Sys.
- Updates the check monitoring file for every disbursement made.
- Routes checks to the authorized signatories.
- Safe keeper of the treasury records related to disbursements.
2. Petty Cash and Revolving Fund Procedures
- Custodian, responsible in securing the petty cash fund.
- Conducts cash count every end of the day.
- Validates request for payment, and release cash documented by cash voucher.
- Collates and files liquidated vouchers, subject for replenishment.
- Preparer of cash fund reimbursement form, for petty cash replenishment
3. Treasury Reporting and Other Treasury Responsibilities
- Prepare of cash position report for the assigned bank accounts.
- Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time

Job Competencies
Core Competencies:
Person with integrity; Good knowledge of clerical-accounting practices; Ability to maintain accurate financial reports and records; Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
Technical Competencies:
Familiar with financial software (QuickBooks, Logi-sys, SAP) and intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Offices (MS Excel, MS Word)

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, or any other finance related field
Trainings/Seminars:
General Accounting/ Accounting seminars including financial management & analysis, etc. (preferably but not required)
Experience:
Experience of under one year in a related field is acceptable; fresh graduates may also be considered.
