Description - Process and manage medical billing and coding accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely submission of claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims.
- Review patient bills and identify discrepancies in charges or insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain updated knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1–3 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in medical billing software and MS Office; strong attention to detail.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
