Job description:
Accounting Staff maintains, records, and analyzes financial transactions, ensures compliance with regulations, and assists in month-end closing, budgeting, and financial reporting. Key duties include reconciling bank accounts, preparing journal entries, processing accounts payable/receivable, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Posting transactions, managing the general ledger, and preparing journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements).
- Reconciliations: Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Accounting Operations: Handling accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll processing, and expense monitoring.
- Compliance & Audit: Assisting with tax compliance, government remittances, and providing documentation for internal/external audits.
- Analysis & Budgeting: Assisting with budget preparation, expense reporting, and financial forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
