We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial data entry, reconciliation, and administrative support functions. The ideal candidate for this role should be skilled in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and organizing documentation while using standard business software tools. This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining organized records, and supporting the smooth administrative operations of the business.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Perform daily financial data entry into Xero, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  
• Conduct bank account reconciliation and maintain accurate balance records.
  
• Reconcile statements, including supplier, credit, and other financial statements, to ensure timely and error-free reporting.
  
• Manage and process credit account applications as required.
  
• Enter and maintain data in Wunderbuild (preferred but not mandatory) to support project and cost tracking.
  
• Organize and maintain all financial and operational files, ensuring proper document management and audit readiness.
  
• Coordinate and update records using standard business software tools.
  
• Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects to support the team’s operations.
  

Requirements

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Knowledge or formal experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  
• Prior construction industry experience (desirable).
  
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with:
  

Xero and similar accounting software

MS Outlook for communication and scheduling

Weblink (preferred)

Wunderbuild (preferred for project data entry and tracking)

• Good written and spoken English for clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.
