Company Lawyer

A Company Lawyer (Corporate Lawyer) provides legal advice and support to a company's management and departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, managing legal risks, handling corporate governance matters, protecting the company's interests, and representing the organization in legal proceedings when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to management and employees on corporate and business matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks affecting the organization's operations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolutions.
• Conduct legal research and provide opinions on complex legal issues.
• Advise management on corporate governance, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Review company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Handle employment-related legal matters, including labor law compliance and workplace disputes.
• Protect the company's intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation and specialized legal matters when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent legal qualification.
• Must have a valid license or admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Proven experience as a corporate lawyer, legal counsel, or in a related legal role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
