Accounting Officer

Bank Reconciliation:

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Review account balances and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare financial reports, including cash flow statements, receivables aging, and reconciliation summaries.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing collections and resolving account discrepancies
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
• Strong understanding of financial principles, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
