IQVIA seeks a Medical Advisor/Associate Medical Director in Oncology/Hematology to provide clinical and scientific expertise supporting clinical research studies across multiple Asia-Pacific locations. The role involves protocol oversight, adverse event review, site support, and regulatory compliance throughout trial lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as backup medical advisor and potentially regional medical advisor on assigned oncology/hematology projects
- Provide medical support to investigative sites regarding protocol clarifications, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and patient safety issues
- Review and contribute to medical assessments of protocols, investigative drug brochures, and case report forms
- Perform medical review and clarification of trial-related adverse events and serious adverse events with pharmacovigilance collaboration
- Deliver therapeutic area training to project clinical teams and present at investigator meetings as needed
Requirements
- Medical degree with hematology or oncology training from accredited, internationally recognized institution
- Specialty board certification in relevant oncology or hematology area preferred
- Prior experience in clinical medicine with applicable specialty focus or equivalent education and training combination
- Current knowledge of medical, scientific and clinical landscape in oncology/hematology
- Knowledge of federal and local regulations and guidelines pertaining to clinical research
- Strong written and spoken English communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers, managers and external clients
