About the Client:

Our clients, Florida and Georgia-based personal injury law firms, are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Editor / Post Production Editor to support an ongoing reality show-style media project.

 

About the Role:

This role is ideal for a strong storyteller with experience in fast-paced post-production environments who can transform raw footage into compelling, polished content that aligns with a clear narrative vision.

 

Role Responsibilities :

The primary function of this role is to edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality episodes and manage the full post-production workflow from assembly through final delivery.

 

Editing

• Assemble raw footage into polished, engaging episodes aligned with narrative goals
• Collaborate with producers and directors to execute creative vision
• Maintain continuity, pacing, and storytelling flow throughout edits
• Shape content to match the tone and structure of reality-style programming

 

Post Production

• Manage full post-production workflow from rough cut to final delivery
• Perform sound design, color correction, and basic visual enhancements
• Integrate graphics, subtitles, and supporting visual elements as needed
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure broadcast-level standards

 

Deadline Management & Organization

• Deliver edits within tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality
• Organize and manage large volumes of footage and project files efficiently
• Maintain structured workflows to ensure smooth production cycles

 

Requirements :

• Proven experience as an Editor or Post Production Editor
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar professional editing software)
• Experience in reality TV, documentary, or fast-paced narrative editing preferred
• Strong storytelling ability and visual composition skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with creative teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to interpret creative direction
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with sound design and audio mixing
• Familiarity with color grading tools and workflows
• Understanding of current trends in reality or digital episodic content
• Experience working with structured production pipelines or agency environments
