We are looking for a dependable and responsible Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods, passengers, or materials from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent time-management skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations.
- Follow planned routes and schedules, adjusting for traffic or road conditions as needed.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure its safe operation.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, pickups, or passenger transport.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Load and unload goods or assist with loading, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays immediately.
- Communicate effectively with team members or supervisors to report updates, issues, and progress.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or passengers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Previous driving experience (especially in a professional setting) preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
