Project Supervisor (Project in Charge)

A Project In-Charge in construction serves as the on-site leader responsible for directing daily operations, enforcing safety, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Monitoring daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with building plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Scheduling & Planning: Developing and maintaining project timelines, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforcing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, PPE usage, and conducting site safety inspections.
- Reporting & Documentation: Preparing daily/weekly accomplishment reports, managing site records, and documenting change orders.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of site supervisory experience in construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Excel).
- Competencies: Strong leadership, decision-making, cost-saving ability, and under-pressure problem-solving.
