Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years actual hard coding experience (Inpatient)
- WITH CCS – Certified Coding Specialist
- Must have inpatient coding experience
Responsibilities
- Review and assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes for inpatient medical records in accordance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Analyze clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting coding turnaround times.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Participate in coding audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
