Financial Analyst

Job Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 yrs experience with field of General Accounting and with SAP system knowledge.
• Graduate of Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites and SAP System.
• Can start ASAP.

Job Responsibilities:

TREASURY

• Coordination of Check cancellation, Reissuance and other Check related inquiry by vendors and colleagues.
• Issuance of provisional receipt and printing and filing of collection receipts/official receipts.
• Facilitation of bank funding request and manager’s check.
• Funding of sub-account
• Special check payment request
• Support GFS treasury with follow up, document submission to bank and other related matters as bank’s main contact person.
• Opening of bank facilities as needed related to:
• Account Opening
• Government Payment facilities
• FX onboarding and other
• Update of bank information as needed related to:
• Bank signatory update
• Bank user access update
• Bank’s main point of contact
• Submission of Local bank’s bank statement to GFS.
• Coordination and identification of bank open items with bank, concern colleagues and GFS.
• Facilitation of time deposit.
• Facilitate FX purchase for payment importation and service.
• Submission of documents for FX purchase
• Coordination with bank and GFS Treasury and AP team (includes netting and third-party payment)
• Cash Forecasting as requested.
• Facilitation of Dividend Payment.

SOURCE TO PAY

• Coordinating of issuance of manual certificate of withholding tax and facilitation of other related concern.
• Purchasing of finance equipment and supplies.
• Creation of Purchase Requisition, PO monitoring/closing and vendor’s invoice review for payment based on PO (e.g., KPMG, WTW, Standard Insurance, etc.)

FINANCE OPERATION

• Assist Finance Operation Lead with the Finance Clearance (off-boarding).
• Monthly Fleet related transactions in close coordination with Fleet and Fixed Asset Team
• Provide details required by Fleet related to Fleet Masterfile (e.g., updated Local FAR, disposal date and value of assets for disposal).
• Car lease capitalization (monthly).
• Car lease modification (quarterly).
• Local GAAP quarterly finance lease amortization computation and entries (car, building, and parking)

• Support in the Monthly Review of Inventory COE calculation of negative inventory adjustments, cost update
• Quarterly Legal Reserve update
• Quarterly/Annual Cost Center Review
• Assist in the Annual Review of FinOps vendor’s engagement letters (e.g., KPMG, WTW, etc.)
• Annual KPMG audit
• Assist market logistics team during physical inventory count in the warehouse during KPMG audit (if still needed moving forward)
• Prepare Reconciliation for Leases (Fleet Cars and Building/Parking)
• Prepare Inventory Recon/Adjustment (coordinate with market logistics team)
• Prepare the Computation of Clubshare Fair Value Adjustments
• Assist in checking the supporting details of KPMG proposed adjusting journal entries, if any (e.g., inventory recognition adjustment)
• Assist in the Review of related party transactions, outstanding balances and disclosures
• Coordinate details to be disclosed in the FS prepared by SARCOE during the review process
• Assist in providing the requirements for KPMG audit and coordinate/assist in following-up pending requirements from other local market colleagues
• Review actual entries posted by SARCOE / GBS Dalian Team based on approved audit adjustments
• Prepare Annual Computation of Property Insurable Values and submission in Ventiv Platform (coordinate requirements with Customer Supply Chain)
• Provide LVA% or Annual Standard Cost Pricing – Landed Cost to Cost Record Team (adhoc and annual review in coordination with Brokers/Market Logistics Team)
• Assist in the FA inventory count (once every 5 yrs or as mandated by FA COE)
• Prepare and request booking of adjusting entries, if any (e.g., monthly dues GL and cost center reclass, etc.)
• Assistance in inventory destruction process
• Assist in the High-level review of inventory reconciliation for physical destruction prepared by Market Logistics Team
• Preparation of count sheet and other required documents to be provided to Market Logistics Team for submission to BIR
• Perform and discuss Quarterly Balance Sheet Review / Submit PO Tier 3 Adjustments, if any

FINANCE REPORTING

• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual preparation of supporting documentation for SAP PC and Webforms submission including coordination with GBS Dalian Team
• Preparation of Quarterly and Annual PSA Survey for submission to PX (FinOps data only) including coordination with GBS Dalian Team
• Quarterly BSP Survey – Coordinate with GBS Dalian Team the details in the BSP survey template prepared by GBS Dalian Team and submit in BSP portal
• Annual SEC online filing of Audited Financial Statements
• Annual Lease Survey - collate new contracts and input details in Powerapps for lease survey submission
• Annual BIR Requirements to be provided to Tax Team for submission to BIR
• Preparation of Books of Accounts
• Preparation of Inventory listing
