Fiber Telecom Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a flexible, customer-oriented Business Analyst who can combine strong analytical thinking, active listening, and delivery ownership. The person should be able to quickly understand customer expectations, transform them into clear and simple solution designs, and effectively coordinate with development, QA, and customer teams. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the telecom industry and experience working with telecom customers or solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer workshops, meetings, interviews, and discovery sessions to collect and clarify business requirements

• Use active listening and strong analytical skills to identify the real customer need, including hidden expectations, gaps, and risks

• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and simple solution designs

• Challenge unclear or contradictory requirements and proactively propose better alternatives

• Facilitate communication between the customer, development team, QA team, and project stakeholders

• Ensure that all parties have the same understanding of scope, priorities, and expected results

• Produce customer-friendly visual materials

• Maintain requirement traceability and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle

• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and customer trainings

• Build strong long-term relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor

About you

• 2+ years of practical experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Delivery Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in IT

• At least 1–2 years of practical experience in the telecom industry, preferably working with telecom operators, CSPs, or telecom software products

• Hands-on experience working with telecommunications companies, particularly in business analysis, solution design, or process improvement

• Strong understanding of telecom processes and solutions, with experience in fiber rollout, telecom inventory management, telecom asset management, or network infrastructure

• Strong understanding of Requirements Analysis and Requirements Lifecycle Management

• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models

• Practical experience preparing professional project documentation

• Experience communicating with customers and cross-functional teams

• Ability to independently drive meetings, workshops, and requirement discussions

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
