A Barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include taking orders, operating coffee equipment, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous customer service or barista experience is preferred but not always required. Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments (cash/POS system)
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, seating areas, and equipment
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries
- Educate customers about menu items and make recommendations
- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Support team members during busy periods
