- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Handle payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment options.
- Provide customers with change, receipts, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding areas.
- Ensure proper handling of customer complaints, returns, or exchanges, following store policies.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience (preferred).
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling cash and transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Dependability and reliability with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge of store policies and products (training may be provided).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
