- Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, provide change, and ensure customers receive correct receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies and assisting with store cleanliness as needed.
- Basic math skills and previous experience with cash handling or POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain friendly and professional.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
