Description
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
- Installs, maintains and repairs flashings, metallic roof and wall claddings and rainwater products such as gutters and downpipes.
- Ensure that all plumbing related to the roof, such as drainage and venting systems, is functioning properly.
- Coordinate with contractors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Inspect roofs for damage and leaks, providing timely solutions to issues.
- Maintain compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience Level: 3–5 years of relevant experience in roof plumbing.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in housing construction and understanding of roofing materials and techniques.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Working Conditions: Willingness to work at heights and adhere to safety protocols.
