Seeking an experienced Accounting VA – Real Estate & Construction for a multi-entity homebuilding, real-estate development, and property-management company. This is a Remote position that offers the opportunity to work part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
What You'll Do
- Manage construction draws and ensure accurate job-cost accounting.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Perform regular reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks.
- Create and maintain financial spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets .
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as an Accounting VA in the real estate or construction industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of construction draws and job-cost accounting .
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Availability to work 15–20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling.
