Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst – Junior
Number of hours: 40 hours / week
Schedule: EST
Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools.
Write basic SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
Support ad-hoc reporting and business analysis requests.
Monitor data quality and assist in resolving data inconsistencies.
Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements.
Maintain BI documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting standards.
Assist with testing and validating reports and dashboards before deployment.
Support data warehouse and analytics initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related role.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn data warehousing and analytics concepts.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
AWS Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Scrum Foundations
Technical Skills:
SQL & Database Fundamentals
Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Data Analysis & Visualization
Microsoft Excel
Data Warehousing Fundamentals
Reporting & Dashboard Development
Agile & Scrum Fundamentals
