QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Good physical stamina and endurance
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods
- Basic communication skills
- Dependability and punctuality
- Friendly attitude and good customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks.
- Sort packages to ensure accurate delivery.
- Help carry packages to customers' doors or designated delivery locations.
- Assist drivers in navigating routes and handling deliveries efficiently.
- Ensure packages are delivered safely and in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent damage or injury.
- Communicate with customers professionally and courteously.
- Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized (if applicable).
- Report any delivery issues or damages to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made.
- Support team members and drivers as needed.
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines during all tasks.
- Assist in warehouse or storage areas if required.
