Position Summary
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness in all assigned areas. This role ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces.
• Refill restroom supplies such as tissue, soap, and sanitizer.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damage or needed repairs.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms or work areas when required.
• Follow safety guidelines in handling chemicals and cleaning tools.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Report any safety hazards or irregularities to the supervisor.
Qualifications
• High school graduate or equivalent (MALE).
• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping work is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit and able to lift or move items as required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Can work independently or with minimal supervision.
