Job Description – Driver
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while following assigned schedules and routes.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
- Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and deliveries.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of transported items.
- Respond professionally to delivery or transportation concerns and coordinate with the assigned supervisor.
- Perform other duties related to transportation as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid professional driver's license with the appropriate restriction code/class.
- Proven experience as a company, delivery, or service driver is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws, road safety practices, and local routes.
- Physically fit and able to lift and transport items when required.
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
