The Accounting officer - Fixed Asset will be the over-all controller of all company medical equipment assets and office assets. He/she will be monitoring the end-to-end movement of all assets from recognition, movements, until disposal, and ensure that all system/internal data are matched with the actual/physical data of the assets through asset counts, variance analysis, and audit reporting.
Responsibilities
-Manage and perform asset counts and ensure all assets is accounted for and variances identified are reported and resolved on a timely manner.
-Maintain updated and accurate records of all company fixed assets and medical equipment at all time in terms of quantity and value.
-Maintain updated and accurate records of all company assets and its movements.
-Preparation, analysis, submission and reporting of fixed asset reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
-Oversee recording and recognition of assets from receiving of goods, including computation of the value to be recorded/recognized (landed cost).
-Process and control movement of medical equipment asset configurations and grouping.
-Validate and process movement of assets from inventory to medical equipment fleet.
-Validate list of assets being endorsed for disposal.
-Conducts cycle and surprised asset counts counts.
-Summarizes, reports and investigates asset variances with recommendation on resolution on a timely manner.
-Coordinates / communicates with departments regarding asset concerns.
-Other relevant tasks that will be assigned relevant to the position.
Qualifications
-Bachelor/college degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing or similar courses
-At least 2 years of working experience in related field
-High attention to details and professionally skeptical
-Problem solver
-Can work with minimal supervision
-Good communication and presentation skills (written and spoken)
-Familiarity in Microsoft suite is preferred
-Familiarity in the Medical Industry is preferred
-Wants a part of success and change the Philippine health system
-Must be willing to work in Manila and scheduled travel (nationwide) for cycle counts and audits
-Available to work ASAP (start date can be negotiated)
