Head of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and O&M

Role Summary :

• The role will lead and manage the design and engineering, project execution, commissioning and handover, and asset management (operations and maintenance) of multiple renewable energy Projects (initially, solar PV and integrated battery storage and, future wind), including related supply chain/sourcing activities.
• The role is accountable for ensuring that the Company's Projects are delivered safely, on-time, and within agreed budget, quality, and production performance expectations.
• The role will be responsible for defining the project delivery, asset management, and related sourcing strategies that enable the most optimal and competitive results for the business. The role will also lead the execution of these sourcing activities and manage the performance of selected suppliers/vendors/contractors. The role will be the main source of insight on supply chain trends and market developments.
• The role will support the Project Development team in technical matters related to project screening, project derisking, project economics, etc.
• The role will provide technical support for project financing and interface with relevant parties (i.e. lenders' engineers).
• The role will be accountable for the O&M performance of the plants (i.e. HSSE&SP, cost, plant availability, and regulatory compliance, performance monitoring/reporting), O&M improvements via the use of technology, digitalization, and other industry best practices, and enabling smooth interface with commercial operations/trading teams.
• The role will lead a team of engineers, project managers, procurement/supply chain specialists, O&M managers, and HSSE specialists and will be accountable for defining capability requirements and related capability development that supports delivery commitments and growth aspirations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from accredited institutions; Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, an advantage
• Engineering Board passer / Professional Engineer
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, EPC management, and contract negotiations, with a strong background in construction and commissioning of solar PV projects and high-voltage transmission lines.
• Minimum 10 years experience in power plant engineering technology and/or asset management, with at least 5 years in asset management.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder interfaces effectively.
• Technical expertise in engineering principles, construction methodologies, and BESS integration
