We are seeking a skilled Social Media Video Editor / Creative VA to join our team and support a growing eCommerce brand focused on automotive technology products.

 

Role Overview

As a Social Media Video Editor / Creative VA, you will help create high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and paid ads. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, knows how to create strong hooks, and enjoys turning raw ideas or footage into engaging content.

You will also support social media planning, content scheduling, creative brainstorming, and marketing initiatives. Over time, the goal is for you to become a trusted creative partner who can suggest ideas, improve content performance, and help build a repeatable content creation system for the brand.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and paid ads.
• Create engaging video hooks, captions, transitions, and creative variations.
• Repurpose existing content into different formats for multiple social media platforms.
• Assist with day-to-day social media content creation and scheduling.
• Help brainstorm new content ideas based on current social media trends.
• Support marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, promotional launches, and creative planning.
• Learn client’s products, brand voice, and preferred editing style.
• Organize creative files, video assets, and content calendars.
• Communicate proactively with the team regarding timelines, tasks, and creative updates.
• Suggest improvements, new editing styles, and creative concepts without always being asked.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality videos with fast turnaround times.
• Help establish a repeatable content creation process as the account continues to grow.

Requirements

• Strong short-form video editing experience for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, or similar platforms.
• Portfolio or sample work demonstrating professional video editing skills.
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, hooks, pacing, captions, and attention-grabbing content.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple creative projects.
• Reliable communicator who provides regular updates and asks questions when needed.
• Coachable, proactive, and open to feedback.
• Creative thinker who enjoys suggesting new ideas, not just completing assigned tasks.
• Stable internet connection and a capable computer for video editing.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating Meta Ads creatives.
• Canva proficiency.
• Basic Photoshop or graphic design skills.
• Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Photography or videography experience.
• Previous experience with eCommerce, automotive, or consumer technology brands.

Work Schedule & Setup

• Must be amenable to work onsite at 15th Floor, 1Nito Tower Building, Cebu City.
• Open to working flexible hours, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may evolve.
