Finance Associate

Finance assistant/Specialist 25k - 40k Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous, organized, and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in the Philippines. You will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording of payments. This role offers an opportunity for internal transfer to an Expense role, taking on broader financial responsibilities within the company. Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Visits & Invoicing: Visit clients to obtain sales details and issue accurate invoices based on sales contracts or orders.
2. AR Recording & Revenue Recognition: Accurately record all accounts receivable and recognize related revenue, ensuring timely and precise financial data.
3. Payment Follow-up & Reconciliation: Actively follow up on client payments, manage overdue accounts, and perform timely reconciliation of accounts receivable.
4. Expense Recording & Tax Calculation: Record commissions and other related expenses, and be responsible for calculating relevant Withholding Tax and accounts receivable.
5. Aging Analysis & Balance Verification: Periodically verify the accuracy of accounts receivable balances and perform aging analysis to identify potential risks.Future Transition Responsibilities (Expenses):

Upon successful completion of AR duties and gaining experience, you will have the opportunity to transition to an Expense role, primarily responsible for:

1. Expense & Payment Logging: Log various business expenses and payment information, recording relevant Withholding Tax and Input Tax.
2. Reimbursement & Budget Management: Process employee personal expense reimbursements and assist with budgeting and accrual for brand-related expenses.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with prior experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) preferred.
3. Tax Knowledge: Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations, especially concerning Withholding Tax, is an advantage, not must.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Experience with at least one accounting software. Strong data entry and verification skills. 5. Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken), capable of working effectively in a Philippine business environment. 6. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, responsible, with excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
