About the role
The PR Specialist Associate supports the company in maintaining a positive public image and strengthening brand awareness. This role assists in managing media relationships, coordinating influencer partnerships, supporting brand storytelling initiatives, and helping protect the company’s reputation to ensure consistent and positive brand exposure across different channels.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the planning and execution of public relations activities in line with the company’s marketing and brand goals.
Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, content creators, and brand partners, including sourcing potential collaborations through email accounts and social media platforms.
Communicate with content creators regarding partnerships, content use, and other related matters, including reviewing profiles and portfolios.
Secure media features, interviews, and brand placements to increase brand awareness.
Prepare and review communication and marketing materials, including press releases, media kits, and social media content, to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
Manage influencer and content creator activities, including outreach, coordination of product gifting or paid collaborations, maintaining updated PR tracking sheets, and identifying new potential partners.
Handle PR administrative and coordination tasks, including preparing weekly budget breakdowns, processing invoices for approval, and coordinating with the operations team for PR shipments.
Assist in organizing brand launches, events, and partnership initiatives.
Monitor and manage the company’s social media accounts, including reviewing message requests, tracking brand mentions, and supporting community engagement.
Monitor and prepare reports on PR and social media performance, including monthly analytics and insights.
Conduct research and contribute ideas to support marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Preferably with experience in public relations, brand communications, or social media management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
Experience in copywriting, proofreading, and editing promotional or marketing materials.
Familiarity with social media platforms and community engagement practices.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with media partners, influencers, and collaborators.
Strong organizational and project management skills for coordinating campaigns, launches, and partnerships.
Ability to analyze campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in basic digital tools such as Google Workspace or similar platforms.
