Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions and APIs. This role involves translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure integration architectures using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on MuleSoft experience, a solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and cloud technologies, and the ability to provide technical direction, mentor developers, and ensure solutions meet architectural, security, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify API and integration requirements.
• Design MuleSoft APIs and integration solutions that align with enterprise architecture and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review application data models, define API schemas and data mappings, and provide technical design recommendations.
• Lead and mentor technical teams throughout the development and delivery of integration solutions.
• Review existing APIs, integrations, and enterprise service bus (ESB) services to validate requirements, solution designs, and effort estimates.
• Establish and promote architectural standards, development best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Guide the implementation of security, exception handling, logging, monitoring, and configuration management practices.
• Ensure appropriate use of CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.
• Provide technical estimates, identify dependencies, and support sprint planning and delivery coordination.
• Identify technical risks, platform configuration issues, and integration dependencies, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Contribute to system-level testing strategies and continuous improvement of integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in integration solutions , including 3 or more years of hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform .
• Strong knowledge of Mule 4, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Studio, and Design Center.
• Experience with RAML, OpenAPI Specification (OAS), DataWeave 2.0, REST, SOAP, and event-driven integrations.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
• Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and MuleSoft Runtime Fabric.
• Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, TLS, encryption, and identity and access management.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards such as PCI and GDPR.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor technical teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple integration initiatives and architectural decisions simultaneously.

Good to Have:

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 certification.
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
