General Ledger Accounting Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Financial Management System Development: Assist the Financial Manager in establishing a financial accounting system and internal control policies in compliance with local Philippine regulations.
Full-Accounting Management: Manage overall accounting operations in the Philippines, including fund receipts and disbursements, tax compliance, inventory accuracy, and timely and accurate invoice issuance and collection
Financial Accounting Processing: Perform monthly accounting tasks in accordance with Philippine Accounting Standards, including the preparation and review of accounting vouchers.
Financial Report Preparation: Independently prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) that meet Philippine legal requirements; collaborate with the Financial Manager to compile consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in line with Chinese Accounting Standards.
Accounting Analysis: Regularly submit analysis reports on account-specific fluctuations to support business decision-making.
Tax Compliance Management: Lead the full process of tax declarations (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.) to ensure timeliness and accuracy; maintain relationships with government agencies (e.g., BIR - Bureau of Internal Revenue, SEC - Securities and Exchange Commission) and external accounting firms.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage a 2–3 person finance team in the Philippines; standardize accounting processes and develop training plans to enhance team capability.
Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by company leadership.
Job Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
Holding a CPA Philippines license is preferred.
Proficiency in the Philippine tax law system, with successful tax planning cases preferred.
Experience in establishing financial systems and optimizing processes.
Experience in cross-cultural team collaboration (preference for China-Philippines team collaboration).
Business-level proficiency in English and Filipino (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP Financial modules (FI/CO), UFIDA NCC, or Kingdee is preferred.
Result-oriented, with a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality awareness.
Preferably with automotive experience.
Strong stress tolerance.
