Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with strong expertise in Xero , Australian tax law , and BAS compliance . This role will focus on reconciling, correcting, and stabilising financial records within Xero.
Key Responsibilities
Xero Reconciliation & Accuracy

Full reconciliation of transactions
-
Identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors
-
Ensure accurate transaction categorisation and reporting
-
Maintain integrity of financial records in Xero
Australian Compliance & Tax Support
-
BAS preparation and reporting support
-
GST reconciliation and compliance
-
Ensure adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations
-
Support EOFY financial preparation
Ongoing Bookkeeping Support

Monthly reconciliations
-
BAS lodgement support
-
Financial reporting and accuracy checks
-
Ongoing system maintenance and record accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience with Xero
-
Strong knowledge of Australian tax law , BAS , and GST
-
Experience in reconciliation and financial clean-up projects
-
High attention to detail and data accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and manage sensitive financial data
-
Strong reporting and documentation skills
-
Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant or Remote Bookkeeper
