Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as an Internal Audit Specialist. The successful candidate will evaluate internal controls, assess operational and financial risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role involves conducting internal audit engagements, identifying control gaps, recommending process improvements, and supporting the organization in strengthening risk management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and risk management practices.
• Review financial and operational records, business transactions, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate existing policies, procedures, and internal controls to identify weaknesses, irregularities, and potential risks.
• Perform audit testing, risk assessments, and analysis of business processes.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, reports, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on identified control deficiencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and minimize business risks.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to gather information, discuss audit findings, and facilitate corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, accounting standards, and established procedures.
• Assist in special audits, investigations, and other risk management initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active professional license.
• At least 7 months of relevant internal audit experience .
• Experience in internal auditing, internal control evaluation, and operational or financial risk assessment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City.
