They work with clients to create desired looks for various occasions, including events, photoshoots, or theatrical productions. Their duties include preparing the skin, selecting appropriate makeup products, and ensuring the makeup lasts throughout the event.
- Proven experience as a makeup artist or cosmetologist
- In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques and products
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Creative and artistic with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of skin types and color theory
- A portfolio showcasing previous work (preferred)
- Certification or formal training in makeup artistry (preferred)
