Technical Sales Manager

To manage the sales cycle for complex products or solutions, leading the sales team, and acting as the bridge between customer needs and technical capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
- Technical Expertise: Understand and articulate the technical aspects of products and services to clients and internal teams.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technical sales reps or engineers, setting goals and providing coaching.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals, RFP responses, and product demonstrations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and long-term client satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
- Adherance to plan activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements
- To perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to support the organization’s Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values
