Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead and manage our cloud engineering initiatives. This role is critical in shaping the organization’s cloud strategy, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks including monitoring system and network performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining user accounts
• Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud environments to support business needs
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT teams across the organization
• Contribute to the development of a multi-year cloud roadmap and strategy
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to support cloud and big data initiatives
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions that drive cost savings and value creation
• Conduct regular capacity planning and performance reviews
• Redesign and enhance existing cloud solutions to meet evolving business requirements
• Lead IT engineering projects, ensuring delivery within timelines, scope, and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field
• 3–7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Ability to design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
• Experience selecting appropriate cloud services based on technical and security requirements
• Ability to estimate usage costs and implement cost-control strategies
• Experience migrating on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments
