Kitchen production assistant key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
- Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare ingredients, raw ingredients
- Molding, dipping, topping of ice cream bars
- Operating production machinery, ice cream making equipment
- Proper disposal of rubbish
- Cleaning the f ood preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
- Making sure stocks, packaging, inventory are all properly organized
- Packing of finished products, sticking stickers
- Making sure kitchen is ready for production for the following day
