Data Scientist - Mid / Senior

Leading Global Financial Information & Analytics Institution | Taguig City, Metro Manila

A leading global financial information and analytics institution is expanding its Data Science team in Manila, developing enterprise-ready data and AI solutions that support its global Data & Analytics operations.

We are looking for experienced Data Scientists with expertise in machine learning, deep learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI. You will collaborate with Operations, Technology, Engineering, and analytics teams to develop scalable data workflows and AI solutions that deliver business value.

• Data Scientist (Mid-Level) – 1 vacancy | 3–5 years of relevant experience

• Senior Data Scientist – 2 vacancies | 6–8 years of relevant experience

• Develop and optimize data acquisition, cleaning, transformation, and processing workflows.

• Build, train, test, and validate machine learning and deep learning models.

• Apply NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to develop AI-driven solutions.

• Process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, including PDFs and scanned documents.

• Apply web scraping, crawling, entity extraction, and advanced data pre-processing and post-processing techniques.

• Develop evaluation frameworks and metrics to assess AI and automation solutions against business requirements.

• Build and deploy data and machine learning solutions on cloud platforms, following MLOps and CI/CD practices.

• Collaborate with analytics specialists, software engineers, Operations, Technology, and project delivery teams.

• Communicate technical findings, project progress, and business insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• For senior positions, contribute to technical direction, production model optimization, coding standards, and platform strategy.

• Strong proficiency in Python , including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Working knowledge of SQL , relational databases, and statistical programming.

• Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modelling, and deep learning.

• Experience with NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering, and RAG workflows .

• Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Experience with feature engineering, model evaluation, and large, complex datasets.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and MLOps practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience with web scraping, entity extraction, document processing, and commercial or open-source data management tools is an advantage.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modelling.

• Hands-on experience in feature engineering, predictive modelling, NLP, LLMs, and RAG.

• Practical model development experience and familiarity with cloud environments, MLOps, and CI/CD.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or statistical modelling.

• Demonstrated experience developing, optimizing, and deploying production-grade AI/ML models.

• Strong knowledge of Python, machine learning and deep learning frameworks, statistical analysis, NLP, LLMs, and RAG.

• Ability to provide technical direction, establish coding standards, and collaborate across engineering and business teams.

Experience in financial services or investment banking, or familiarity with financial datasets and analytics workflows, is advantageous.
