If you are a dynamic and highly motivated professional who is passionate about expanding learning opportunities and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF Philippines is looking for an Education Officer who will provide technical, operational, and administrative support to the Education Programme.

Under the supervision of the Education Specialist, as an Education Officer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting of education initiatives that strengthen multiple flexible learning pathways for out-of-school and out-of-formal-school children and young people. As an Education Officer, you will support the implementation of UNICEF's Learning to Earning Pathways (LEaP!) programme and ICT-supported learning initiatives for the Alternative Learning System (ICT4ALS), working closely with government counterparts (both at the national and local levels), civil society organizations, and other development partners. As an Education Officer, you will support programme management, stakeholder coordination, partnership building, knowledge generation, and evidence-based programming to help ensure that vulnerable young people have improved access to quality learning opportunities, transferable and digital skills, career guidance, and referral pathways to education, employment, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.

As an Education Officer, you will also provide technical assistance to government partners, including the National Youth Commission (NYC), the Department of Education (DepEd), and other key stakeholders to strengthen the country’s multiple flexible learning pathways ecosystem. By advancing innovation, capacity-building, policy dialogue, and strategic partnerships, the role will help expand opportunities for vulnerable young people to access quality learning, develop relevant skills, participate meaningfully in their communities, and realize their full potential.
