Painter

The Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces of products, equipment, or structures within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that surfaces are coated properly to meet quality, safety, and durability standards.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primer before painting.
• Mix and apply paints, coatings, or varnishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure correct color matching, thickness, and finish based on job specifications.
• Inspect painted surfaces for uniformity, coverage, and defects; make necessary touch-ups.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols when handling paints, thinners, and other chemicals.
• Record paint usage and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties such as minor repairs, polishing, or surface finishing as assigned.
